Please accept my deepest sympathies for the loss of your son, and for the loss of the other young men in his unit. Seven more tears in the fabric of the universe . . .

Victoria, I hope you find peace in the fact that Ian DID make a difference in this world. He made a difference to everyone he protected and fought for and everyone who knows his sacrifice he made.
God will carry you through these difficult days.

When I read this thread last night tears came to my eyes for the loss of another of our young Soldiers, and my mother's heart broke for you-a fellow mom. Please know that I honor your son's service and that I pray for God's peace to comfort you and the others who loved Ian always. God bless you, Aimee

It can be found here - viewtopic.php?f=9&t=16484 Rest in peace Christopher. Thank you for your service. My prayers and thoughts go out to this family. May God keep you and give you strength. I was expecting another name so it would appear that there are most likely two GAP members who suffered losses. I go from being furious to crying to worrying about my own. Let's pray also for the safety of our other Soldiers.

The following link is to view the Stryker Brigade Memorial held this week. VP Joe Biden also spoke and his tribute was a most honorable one. The segment dedicated to PFC Christopher Walz, is at the 7 minute mark. This message comes with a tissue alert. Stryker Brigade MemorialRegards, Steve

My heart breaks for these families and my prayers go out for them. Words are inadequate at this time.
