My husband is in training and was suppose to be paid already, but no that is not the case-we live paycheck to paycheck and count on every one we get be it civillian or military.

Why is it so hard for them to do this? I have been given reasons as oops did not know he was in training to man the person that was to file the paper work did not do their job. And even -the computer had a glich and was down.

So why not double check to make sure. If the Soldier says no to training since you don't pay me- he can get an article 15 -I laugh what monies would they be taking away.

I am tried of this it has put a strain on us. I want to be there for him but who is there for us?

They even went as far as to ask does your husband gamble. What an insult!

Right now I am so upset and no one gives me a straight answer how can this be prevented from happening over and over and over again.

Is there anyone I can talk to anyone that can help me?

Sorry to hear that your husband is having a pay problem, but to answer your question, "Why can't they pay on time?" - in fact, the Army does 99.9% of the time.

And curious - what is his current training? (I assumed your question was about BCT or AIT until I noticed in your signature line that he graduated back in 2008).

You can you talk to? Since he is the Soldier, it is his responsibility to talk to his pay person in his Reserve unit. If that is the person giving you grief, he needs to go up the chain of command, from 1st SGT to CO. If that doesn't get this settled, he needs to then call this office -

Army Reserves, if your pay chain-of-command has not been able to resolve your pay problem, contact USARC: USARCPAYINQUIRY@usar.army.mil

Thank you -yes he is a Reservist going through some training that the unit has given him. I was told that I can talk to his unit - I have gone up the chain of command I will check out the site you noted.

It will be a start he has more training this month and next- I hope we can get this resolved so that he does get paid on a timely fashion.

Thank you
